Looks by Lisa was founded 15 years ago to meet the demand for high-end, on-location beauty services in the St. Louis area. Looks By Lisa offers expert on-location makeup and hair services for weddings, graduations, proms, photo shoots, anniversaries, bar mitzvahs, corporate photography, and all your special events.

Lisa Lipsitz
Lisa Lipsitz is a professional makeup artist with 20 years of industry experience and over 1100 happy brides.
She served on the pro artist teams for Bobbi Brown, Givenchy, Laura Mercier and Urban Decay. She was the Mid-West artist trainer for Smashbox Cosmetics and holds an advanced certification in airbrush makeup from Temptu Studios in Los Angeles. She is currently on the national Charlotte Tilbury team.
Lisa provides a relaxing, memorable and fun experience for her brides and their families. Due to her dedication, professionalism, talent and attention to detail, she is highly recommended by top photographers and wedding planners in the St.Louis area.
She enhances the natural beauty and features of her clients. To achieve flawless results, Lisa only uses luxury skincare and makeup products.
Lisa handpicks her artists and stylists and works closely with them for all events. She makes sure each client is excited about her team members.

Jacqueline
Jacqueline is an Esthetician and Professional Makeup Artist with over 19 years of experience. As an entrusted professional in the beauty industry she takes immense pride in helping others. Her services include skin care regimens, on site makeup application for bridal parties, as well as print and commercial work. She received her Esthetic license in 1998 and has been helping people look and feel their best ever since. Jacqueline is well versed in all skin types and makeup applications. While creating a timeless, elegant look, she believes that makeup should accentuate your true beauty. "Everyone has beauty, it's finding the right shade to lift you into the light."
Jai
Since 2003, Jai has worked in retail cosmetics for companies such as MAC, Urban Decay, and Lancome. He's also had the opportunity to serve as a Trainer and Masterclass Facilitator for Chanel and BareMinerals. These experiences have given him the opportunity to work with varying skin tones and textures across the USA. As a freelance artist, Jai has had the opportunity to work with QVC, New York Fashion Week, California College of the Arts, Operation: That's My Dress, and numerous pageant titleholders within Miss America, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA.
Colleen
"A woman to look and feel like herself with makeup, only prettier and more confident." Colleen’s interest in makeup began long before her career did. She began her craft 15 years ago and spent the last 11 years with Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Colleen loves to make women feel their best. Not only does she take pride in making brides feel stunning on their wedding day, she also love being surrounded by such love and excitement. Being a part of people's most special times in their lives is most rewarding. She listens to her client’s individual needs to create a custom look that enhances their natural beauty. Although Colleen’s journey in the industry started over 10 years ago, her passion continues to grow.
Tessa
Tessa is a self-taught Makeup Artist who started freelancing independently two years ago. Her friends encouraged her to post her more creative looks on social media. As Tessa’s experience grew, she caught the attention of Lisa Lipsitz of Looks By Lisa. Lisa invited Tessa to join the team as an intern and assistant. After almost a year of learning from Lisa, Tessa is now a Makeup Artist with Looks by Lisa.
Danielle
Enhancing natural beauty is foremost in the mind of makeup artist Danielle when she works.
Danielle has more than 13 years’ experience in the areas of fashion photoshoots, creative studio photoshoots, makeup education and product consultations. Danielle has worked for notable cosmetic brands and retailers such as: Sephora, Bare Minerals, and Anastasia Beverly Hills. She was a pro artist on the Sephora team, and also received pro artistry certifications from Makeup Forever Academy and Smashbox studios.
Her vast experience, combined with training by some of the industry’s most highly regarded professionals and use of the highest quality makeup products, sees her clients transformed into their best selves.
JULIE
Julie’s career in cosmetics started 15 years ago as a makeup artist for Sephora. Her love for the industry only grew from there. She’s had the opportunity and privilege to learn and work with Pro Artists from Dior, Sephora, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Urban Decay, Make Up For Ever and many more. Enhancing someone’s natural beauty and listening to her clients needs and concerns, finds Julie great joy. With an industry that is consistently evolving, Julie continues to stay educated in the current trends to give her clients the confidence they need and deserve.

Cynthia
Cynthia Padella is a professional makeup artist with over thirteen years of industry experience. She started her career getting her license in college; then working such roles as counter manager, Beauty director, brand trainer, account educator for many luxury brands such as Dior, Lancome, Bobbi Brown and more. Her love for technique, artistry, and teaching others the skills they desire has kept her in cosmetics for a long period of time. She has had the privilege of being a member of the Dior pro team. Where she lead makeup and skincare masterclasses of all kind also working with and learning from celebrity makeup artists.
Cynthia’s hard work, dedication, passion and true love and care of the clients has made her a respected and know artist in the industry. People love her bubbly personality, caring spirit, attention to detail, understanding of the clients desires and passion to ensure that every client feels the most beautiful they can with their look. She loves to do wedding and special occasion looks that highlight each persons best features bringing forward their natural beauty. Ensuring that they feel like the best version of themselves for their special occasion.

After being introduced through the unconventional doors of high school theatre, Austin Knight began his beauty industry love affair. Following an early graduation from cosmetology school, he knew he wanted to combine his passion for education, beauty, and a desire to perform, into one gorgeous career path. In 2016 he left his business in Illinois, and moved to St. Louis to become an Education Development Specialist with L'ANZA. Armed with a hefty repertoire of Special Occasion styling expertise, he began styling for Looks By Lisa. Passionate about Creative Color, his work has been featured on behindthechair.com. Austin mixes his deep knowledge of hair chemistry with lots of fun.
annie
Annie is a licensed cosmetologist. She has been doing weddings and special occasion hair styling for over ten years. She trained with Kevin Murphy, TIGI, DevaCurl, Sam Villa and many others. Styling is her passion! She is well versed in braiding, updos and curling. Annie loves being a part of people's special day. Whether it's a bridal party, a dance or photo shoot, she feels lucky to share that experience with her clients!

Lacey is a licensed Cosmetology and Clinical Nurse! She grew up in Los Angeles, California and relocated to St. Louis, Missouri in 2018, following the man of her dreams. She grew up in the hair industry, as her is a stylist for 30+ years, and a salon owner in California for 15+ years. Lacey's been doing wedding hair for 7+ years. She loves what she does.
AIGNER
My name is Aigner Elam. I’ve been in this wonderful world of cosmetology for 7 years. I received my training from Paul Mitchell The School St. Louis in 2013 where I am now an instructor. In 2014 I started working in the wedding industry and fell in love. There’s no greater feeling that making a woman feel better and confident about herself.

Lydia’s love for styling hair started back when she was a little girl in Puerto Rico watching her mom in the salon. Now, she’s been in the beauty industry for over 14 years, professionally developing and refining the art of beauty. Lydia’s passion for flawless detail defines her work. She strives for perfection—for every style. Her goal is to make you look stunning and help you feel as beautiful as you look.
Lindsay
Lindsay is a former salon stylist turned hair designer. After twelve years working as a full time hair stylist, she closed the doors of my salon to focus solely on styling for weddings and special occasions. While in the beauty industry, Lindsay has developed skills in a variety of formal styling, from unstructured and organic to sleek and traditional. Her portfolio features guests from fashion weeks, magazine spreads in Alive and St. Louis Bridal Magazine, and weddings around the country. Lindsay prides herself on using exclusively gluten free, vegan, and animal cruelty free products.

Gloria has been in the beauty industry since 2009. Since then, she has worked in one of the highest-end salons in the country. Gloria’s passion for the industry extends from a long line of stylists in my family.
Gloria’s number one mission is to provide a comfortable, safe, relaxing environment. In doing so, she can ensure a personalized service every time. Making sure the guest is the main focus and giving them the experience they are looking for.
Chelsea
Chelsea’s love for hair started when she was a competitive dancer. She loved being able to bring a costume alive with a hairstyle to match. She now has nine years of experience in the industry.
Chelsea’s passion is making her guests feel beautiful and special on their wedding day. There is nothing like being a part of someone’s special day. Her bridal work has been featured in multiple St. Louis Bridal Magazines.
She continues to learn and grow her passion so she can keep up with the best and newest trends.
Carlos
Carlos' portfolio includes clients in film/ television, award shows, keynote speakers, weddings, fashion weeks across the states, campaigns, commercial and editorial photo-shoots for magazines such as Runway, Vogue, and Society Diaries. He began his training at Toni&Guy: Fashion Island in Newport Beach, a European based company that specializes in fashion forward hair styling and modern hair cutting. Working 10+ years in Los Angeles with celebrity/editorial hairstylists and as an educator left Carlos with exceptional skills. As a versatile and in demand hairstylist, his talent, sincerity, and strong enthusiasm yielded a fiercely loyal clientele. The runway inspired Carlos to collaborate with photographers, designers and models from all around the globe. He is passionate about current trends and sharpening his skills.

Sarah Young is a professional hair stylist and makeup artist with 20 years of experience in the industry. For years, she has worked closely with local photographers, fashion designers and bridal parties to create the perfect look for any occasion. Her work has been featured in St. Louis Fashion week, Uptown Magazine, Alive and St. Louis Best Bridal magazine. Sarah creates custom looks for each person based on their personal style and personality, to ensure that each woman’s unique beauty shines through.
MICHELLE
Michelle’s love for all things beauty started long before her career did! I went from recreating my dolls looks as a child to helping a person feel as beautiful as they’ve ever wanted to be on their special day! She’s been in the industry 5 years. She began as a self taught makeup artist and in doing so decided to take the jump into cosmetology school.
She specializse in creative styling and makeup. She loves all things beauty but there’s something particularly special about being apart of someone’s big day! Watching their confidence sky rocket is so satisfying and to be a part of it all is an honor in itself.
