Summertime is the wedding season for some areas, and a lot of those weddings and receptions happen outdoors. That’s when it’s critical for your hair and makeup team to know what to expect when navigating heat, humidity, hair, and makeup.

Sweat, frizz, and separation are real dangers when it comes to weddings in the heat and humidity.

Here are some tips to help you stay fabulous during the sweltering summer

If you’ve got curls you want to prevent from frizzing, use a product to help keep those locks from frizzing out. On the other side, if you have curls that you’ve flattened and don’t want those curls to pop out when the humidity ramps up, we recommend. Talk to your stylist before your big day to get recommendations on the perfect products for keeping your hair styled from walking down the aisle to driving away.

If you’re dancing the night away in the summer heat, there’s bound to be some sweat, and that can really impact your makeup. Remember to start with a clean face before you apply your makeup, and that skin prep is your friend!
